The annual cold has struck. I hate being sick..especially when it get's in the way of my newly established running schedule. So, instead of doing speed intervals and some hill training I laid in bed all day watching Mushi-shi on hulu. My husband made fun of me because its anime, but Im not going to apologize. It really is a beautifully made piece of work.The basic story is about a man who, cursed by his ability to attract mushi (or spirits), wanders around the world helping people cure strange illnesses and problems involving mushi. In a wierd sort of way the show reminds me of House, just with a paranormal element to it. It also is a little like x-files in that they dont always solve the mystery..sometimes the story just ends and your left with only your own conclusions. I was sad that they only had 12 episodes up on Hulu..Im crossing my fingers that they put up more. I even hear there is a movie that was realsed in the UK..so maybe I'll do some research and see if I can find it.
